A screen-by-screen tour of running a real business on Ethereal EBS — the first ERP with a live wholesale market and a built-in AI. Every screen below is the actual product, with the steps to use it.
Your whole business, at a glance
The dashboard is the first thing you see after signing in. Live KPIs sit across the top, this year's revenue is charted by month, and recent documents stream below — every figure computed from your real, posted books.
- Read the KPI tiles: revenue this month, open invoices, inventory value, and orders in the pipeline.
- Each module has its own color down the left rail, so you always know where you are.
- Press Ctrl/⌘ K anywhere to open the command palette — jump to any screen or search any record instantly.
Order to cash, end to end
Quote a customer, turn the quote into a sales order, invoice it, and record payment — each step posts to a real double-entry ledger automatically. Documents link to each other, so you can always trace a payment back to its quote.
- In Pipeline → Quotations, create a quote, add line items, and send it. Accept it to spawn a Sales Order.
- Pack & invoice the order — the Invoice posts to the books the moment it's issued.
- On a posted invoice, Record receipt; the invoice's status turns to Paid and cash lands in the ledger.
Inventory that moves with your documents
Products carry stock, cost, and price. Selling draws stock down; receiving a purchase order replenishes it. Valuation and stocktakes keep the numbers honest.
- In Inventory → Products, add a product with a SKU, price, cost, and on-hand quantity.
- Stock moves automatically as orders ship and purchase orders are received.
- Run a Stocktake to reconcile counted vs. system quantities, or import your whole catalog (Step 7).
A live wholesale market, built in
This is the part no other ERP has. Publish what you sell (or what you're buying), and Ethereal matches your demand to other companies' supply across the network — then helps you price the deal. Your private books never cross to another company; only what you choose to publish is shared.
- Network → Browse to see the live market; My Listings to publish what you sell with volume price tiers.
- Register interest in a counterparty's listing; the matcher pairs demand to supply and forms a connection once both accept.
- An accepted match drops a real lead into each side's pipeline — the market feeds your sales funnel directly.
Ask Ethereal — the assistant that knows your numbers
A built-in AI answers questions about your business using only your real, live figures — never a guess. It can also propose an action (create a customer, adjust stock, draft a quote), which you approve, apply, and can undo.
- Open Ask Ethereal and ask in plain English: "What's our net income?" or "How aged is our receivables?"
- Every answer is grounded in your posted books — the assistant pulls the real figures first, then answers over them.
- Ask it to do something; it proposes one safe, reversible step for you to apply — nothing changes until you approve it.
Marketing Studio — and connect ChatGPT
Run campaigns, see the leads each one captured with a cost-per-lead, and manage your ad creatives. Connect ChatGPT with a single token and it can read your campaigns and push finished ad images straight into a campaign.
- In Marketing → Studio, pick a campaign to see its creatives and the leads it brought in.
- Click Create connector token and copy it.
- In ChatGPT, add a connector pointing at etherealebs.com/mcp and paste the token — it's scoped to your company only.
Bring your existing data in
Already have products, customers, or vendors in a spreadsheet? Pick your industry, paste the CSV, and Ethereal maps the columns for you — even converting prices to the right units — so you're up and running in minutes.
- In Settings → Import Data, choose your industry and what you're importing.
- Paste your CSV and press Parse & auto-map; Ethereal matches "Item Name", "SKU #", "Unit Price" to the right fields.
- Adjust any mapping, preview the rows, and Import — bad rows are reported, the rest land cleanly.
The books always balance
Underneath every screen is a real double-entry general ledger. The trial balance, P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and aging reports are always in sync with your documents — no month-end surprises.
- Accounting → Trial Balance proves debits equal credits at any moment.
- Drill into the GL Report, run the P&L and Balance Sheet, and manage Tax Codes and period close.
- Every invoice, bill, payment, and adjustment posts here automatically — you never journal by hand unless you want to.
Projects & professional services
Track projects, log billable time and expenses against them, and bill it all into an invoice in one click.
- In Projects, create a project for a customer and add its tasks.
- Log time and expenses as billable or not; the KPI tiles show what's ready to bill.
- Press Bill project — billable, unbilled time and expenses sweep into a draft invoice you can send.
Recurring billing on autopilot
Set a customer up on a subscription and Ethereal generates their invoices on schedule.
- In Pipeline → Subscriptions, create a subscription with an amount and a cadence (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly).
- Press Run all due to generate every due invoice at once, or Run now on a single subscription.
- The same pattern powers Recurring Journals for scheduled GL entries.
Procurement, requisition to payment
Raise a purchase requisition, route it for approval, convert it to a purchase order, receive the goods, and pay the bill — the full procure-to-pay chain.
- In Procurement → Requisitions, create a requisition with line items and submit it for approval.
- Once approved, convert it to a Purchase Order; receiving the PO replenishes stock and creates a bill.
- Record the payment against the bill — it posts to accounts payable and the ledger.
Stay on top of credit
See every customer's credit limit against their open receivables, so you know who's over the line before you ship.
- Accounting → Customer Credit lists each customer's limit, open AR, and available credit.
- Set or adjust a limit; invoices that would exceed it are flagged (and can require an override).
Bring your team on
Invite teammates by a shareable link and set what each can do — owner, admin, member, or read-only viewer. Mint API keys for programmatic access.
- In Settings → Team, add a teammate; copy the join link and send it — they set their own password.
- Assign a role; the app enforces exactly what each role can see and change.
- Under API Keys, mint a revocable key for integrations and the ChatGPT connector.
